although rufus is broken fortunately i have created the pen usb with the program from the team fedora for create the installer fedora however the installer keep again the same error for install fedora fortunately i happen i can reduce the part home but the error keep by the misconfiguration about the part efi so why the team fedora often doesn't answer my e-mail finally may you repair the installer ?

I do not know what you are trying to do, and do not understand what you are saying. Also you may want to give a shorter subject.
However the above three attempts at mounting are incorrect.
'mount -a' asks to mount everything in /etc/fstab and does not expect the arguments you give.
'mount -o' requires an option, for example 'mount -o ro' will do a read-only mount.
Maybe you want a plain (rw) mount like
sudo mount /dev/sda5 /boot/efi
Assuming /dev/sda5 contains the relevant EFI directory.

Anyone else seeing libvirtd refusing connections after a day?

I have a dedicated Fedora 38 KVM hypervisor that I use for testing, and
I also use my desktop to run VMs. When I leave the virtualization
manager app open (typically overnight), it has disconnected from the
remote hypervisor and from my local hypervisor. When I double click the
connection, it just hangs. If I restart libvirtd on the hypervisor and
on my desktop, it connects instantly.
Is anyone else seeing this?

two wines?

Hi All,
I just noticed I have two wines installed:
$ rpm -qa wine
wine-6.13-1.fc33.i686
wine-6.13-1.fc33.x86_64
yes, I know it is out of date. The current version
does not print.
Are two versions normal?

GRUB Issue? Console Fonts and messages?

Greetings,
In my transition from a Dell XPS 13 L322X (2013 vintage) to a
Dell XPS 13 9380 (2019 vintage), console fonts at bootup are incredibly
small. Is there a way of controlling that?
Also, there is an odd little flashing message "Welcome to GRUB" at
startup. Is there any way of getting rid of that and going to the list of
available kernels?

fedora tarballs

H as anyone ever used these tarballs that fedora releases in a
cloud service? I would think these would have to be bootable is there a
particular way to boot in GCP or another cloud? I will look into it but
if anyone does it maybe they have a couple of hints.

Broken packages DNF Update.

"Skipping packages with broken dependencies".

I want to apply fedora 38 to a VM in GCP to run in the VM. The
thing is I am new to servers and the installation instructions are
beyond me. I have always used console and even rarely GUI. SO the
desktop is what I am used to. How do you install a server edition to
remote storage? What is this VNC is that needed?

qt update problem

I've had the following problem for a few days:
Problem 1: package telegram-desktop-4.8.1-2.fc38.x86_64 from @System requires qt6-qtbase(x86-64) = 6.5.0, but none of the providers can be installed
- cannot install both qt6-qtbase-6.5.1-1.fc38.x86_64 from updates and qt6-qtbase-6.5.0-2.fc38.x86_64 from @System
- cannot install the best update candidate for package telegram-desktop-4.8.1-2.fc38.x86_64
- cannot install the best update candidate for package qt6-qtbase-6.5.0-2.fc38.x86_64
Problem 2: problem with installed package telegram-desktop-4.8.1-2.fc38.x86_64
- package telegram-desktop-4.8.1-2.fc38.x86_64 from @System requires libQt6Gui.so.6(Qt_6_PRIVATE_API)(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed
