KDE menus slow to appear when using VNC, but OK local

Which VNC server are you using? Vino, or the Xorg module, or one of the
other ones that duplicates what is on the main display, or Xvnc (perhaps
via vncserver) where the VNC display is not shown on the main laptop
display?
