William,
Thanks for the note. Our system is running CentOS 7.3 but the version of directory server
is 1.3.5.10. Is this just a timing issue and 1.3.6 will be released shortly for
CentOS7.3?

Hello,
I am currently running an old Centos DS and looking to building a new 389 ds and import
my users. I see that both 1.3.5 and 1.3.6 are currently supported. The EPEL repo for
CentOS 7 installs 1.3.5.10. Any recommendations to go to 1.3.6 or stick with the default
version?
Thanks!
Hi there,
We support versions with Centos major versions. So when you have EL6, you get 1.2.x
series, EL7 is the 1.3.x major versions. The minor versions correspond to specific EL
releases, so 1.3.5.x will be on EL7.2, 1.3.6.x will be EL7.3 etc.
My advice would be to use the version of 389-ds-base that ships with the Centos version
you have installed: we actively support and correct issues in these versions due to the
correlation with RHEL releases.
Hope that helps you,
