Hello,
I intend to hold a classroom session on VIM on Tuesday, December 12 at 2000 UTC. Please mark your calendars. :)
To convert it into local time, you can run the following command in your terminal:
date -d '2011-12-12 2000 UTC'
The session will be at #fedora-classroom on Freenode.
It will concentrate on teaching people how to use VIM correctly, not the way most people do -> in insert mode ;). It's a beginners' session, so we'll start from scratch. We'll try to keep in within an hour.
** Prerequisits: please install vim, vim-X11, vim-outliner
su -c 'yum install vim vim-X11 vim-outliner'
CCing the Ambassadors', fedora-india lists

HI,
Nice idea, thanks Ankur!
Ummm, somebody has similar wish to Emacs? I'd like to really see some magic in relation to it...

I know ;)
If I make it suit us, it doesn't suit Europe or the Americas. In case you can't make it, there will be a session transcript you can follow, and you can ping me any time on one of the #fedora channels :)
Please do note that it is on December _13_ 2000 UTC (I already mailed the correction).
