Hi Kam,
Welcome. A couple of things I'll mention: The North American Ambassadors meet on Tuesday nights at 9pm EDT in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net. At other times many of us hang out on #fedora-ambassador and #fedora-mktg You may also want to take a look at some of the NA specific pages in particular:
Add your name to this page: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/NA/Regions
Check out the expectations here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/NorthAmerica/Expectations
There is an event in your state in the not too distant future - Central Pennsylvania Open Source Conference on October 19th. I know it's a bit away from Philly, but there are a number of people attending, and you may want to check it out. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraEvents/CPOSC/2008
Yaakov Nemoy is heading it up, so you may want to ping him about it.
If there is something you need from us to get moving, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
David Nalley
