Ticket is triaged! This is for an upcoming event from September 17 - 18, so it would be helpful for planning if we could have this badge at least a week ahead of the event (maybe aiming for completion by Sept. 10?).
I'm CCing some members of the Design Team onto this ticket to see if any of them would be able to handle this one. A simple concept idea could be the SVG logo linked above with a "''2016''" or "'16" added in somewhere.
