Robin and I spoke briefly on IRC tonight about documenting the cloud. Her thoughts were that the process of putting images up on Amazon was quite important and needed to be documented. Being a documentation guy I could see that being important as well as how to create the image, what is cloud computing, why someone would want to use cloud computing, and possibly how to build my own cloud or maybe what other "clouds", other than Amazon, are available.
Unfortunately in the tech world great things get built but then don't get documented until it's way late in the project. A lack of documentation can really hinder adoption by others. I'd like to help document the processes and the whys and hows so that others in, and outside, the Fedora Project can recreate what you guys are working on.
If you guys have some notes somewhere that I can look at I'd be happy to start formalizing processes and generating official documentation. It's possible to actually have an official guide (think Fedora Cloud Guide) mostly put together by the time F15 goes to press.
Let me know how I can help!
