Ok, I will try to put together kickstart file and create test image. Systemd generator is a good idea. We should keep ifup/ifdown scripts. I think they simplify things. It is possible to do the same with ip utility and related tools, but that's more complicated. I was wondering which process is currently responsible for creating and modifying ifcfg-* files? I tried to find out that by myself but I can't find the answer. Can someone explain to me what are scripts in /etc/ppp/ used for? Are scripts in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ the same in desktop Fedora and in cloud Fedora?
