Hi,
Since this morning, initializing fedora-rawhide-i386 mock chroots fail for me on FC9:
# mock -r fedora-rawhide-i386 init INFO: mock.py version 0.9.9 starting... ... ERROR: Command failed: # /usr/bin/yum --installroot /var/lib/mock/fedora-rawhide-i386/root/ groupinstall buildsys-build ... /bin/sh: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory error: %post(bash-3.2-28.fc10.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 127 ...
I am able to reproduce this error on different fedora-9-i386 and fedora-9-x86_64 machines.
For whatever reason, so far, on fedora-9-x86_64, "mock -r fedora-rawhide-x86_64 init" doesn't fail, nor have I encountered this error on a fedora-rawhide-i386/fedora-9.92-i386 test-machine.

Hm, I just saw (20081027 install):
Installing bash-3.2-28.fc10.x86_64 /bin/sh: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory warning: %post(bash-3.2-28.fc10.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 127
in my rawhide anaconda install log too.
I made a note of it here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433579
because it seems like a transaction ordering issue. Bash has a Requires(post) on /bin/sh, /bin/sh is provided by bash, which requires libtinfo.so.5, which is provided by ncurses-libs and needs to be installed first. But ncurses-libs is getting installed after bash. Perhaps the circularity of the argument is giving rpm trouble.

I'm having the same issue trying to test build a package up for review. F9-1386 mock builds just fine however this error stops the mock build in rawhide-i386. Did I miss the solution to this or has one not yet been found?

Should be fixed in the next rawhide build.

I'm seeing this issue now in Koji, on a post-F10 rawhide build I attempted today:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=968841&name=root.log
... DEBUG util.py:250: Total download size: 104 M DEBUG util.py:250: /bin/sh: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory DEBUG util.py:250: error: %post(bash-3.2-29.fc10.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 127
Is there anything I need to change on my end?

No. As of yet, this error seems non-fatal.
