Patch looks good for me, r=rmainz@redhat.com ... ... but shouldn't this be #ifdef'ed for now ? If I remember it right Steve Dickson said it might be useful for logging in the kernel in the future (e.g. modify the kernel to accept this information and retain it for logging purposes...).
