A Quick Article for the Magazine
by Gregory Bartholomew
Fedora Magazine Team:
Google just announced that they are providing access to their Stadia gaming
platform for free for two months. In light of this, now might be a decent
time to publish a quick article about how to access it from Fedora on the
magazine.
I just wrote a quick draft for the article. Here It is for editing and
publication if you want to go with it:
https://fedoramagazine.org/?p=30837&preview=1&_ppp=fb02138905
If the review board does want to use it, it might be better to publish it
sooner rather than later so that people can take full advantage of the free
2 months of access.

Editing notes
by Paul Frields
Hey guys,
I just saw the JavaScript REST API article pop up. There were a lot of
weird things left in the article like odd punctuation, incomplete
sentences, and other issues. Here is some advice for editing I wanted
to pass along, so that articles continue to look professional and
helpful:
* Do check proper grammar and style in all sentences. You can use a
service like Grammarly (https://grammarly.com) if helpful.
* Ensure the article follows our Tips for Writers, for formatting and :
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-magazine/tips-for-writers/
These may be originally designed for writers, but our job as editors
is to make sure articles are consistent across the Magazine, which
helps readers be confident about our content.
* Check that everything works in the order described, and is clearly
explained. If you don't get it, readers may not either!
* Fill out the SEO bits -- including a focus keyword and a short
synopsis that shows up in search engines like Google. Without these,
articles are less likely to be seen, and pageviews decrease.
HTH,
Paul

Publishing schedule — content needed!
by Adam Samalik
Hi everyone,
During yesterday's Editorial Board meeting, we weren't able to put together
a publishing schedule because there is not enough content. So let's try to
make it here!
Were currently missing articles for:
* Friday 20 March
* Monday 23 March
* Wednesday 25 March
Are there writers out there who are interested in getting something ready?
Let me know here, I'm happy to provide assistance with editing and cover
images! :)
Cheers!
Adam

FYI: bcotton stepping back for a few weeks
by Ben Cotton
Hi Magazine team,
In the interests of preserving my mental health, I'm going to shed
load for a little bit where I can. This means I'm going to step back
from Fedora Magazine for a few weeks. If you need me, you can always
ping me on IRC or Telegram, but I'll probably mark the mailing list as
read and leave the IRC channel.
Thanks,
BC

I have moved this article to the Review phase on Taiga. I think it's
ready for a review, could some of us oblige?
