Might I boldly suggest Cockpit module for session recording (it only
covers a limited scope as it's useful for commandline only based recording
needs):

It's an optional Cockpit module available on RHEL8 (

I'm quite sure it's available on Fedora 31 while Fedora 30 & 29 might not
be covered but available through manual builds.
