At least for the most languages online/offline has the best understanding of all ideas so far. And we will never find something that is inherently equally suitable in any language.

I can confirm at least for Czech that "online/offline" is very well understood. I like it, and it's a definite improvement.

+1 to putting the version right after the edition. That always bothered me, looking for it somewhere near the end. It's also much clearer to the general public, I believe.
