Anaconda reports that the comps.xml file is buggered and tries all the
mirrors before refusing to install.
Is this a case where the comps.xml.gz is good but comps.xml is bad?
SHould I BZ this?

I have a problem trying to boot from the F9 installation
disks on my laptop currently running F8. I have filed a bug
report here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=450678
Where can I get the latest test installation media, to see
if this bug has been fixed for newer release please?
I need the latest iso image for the net-installer or disk 1
installer.
Kind Regards,
Keith Roberts

I found this in a link on the bash page I just mentioned. If there's a
wannabe developer/packager here with an interest in office software,
collating templates etc, maybe finding them a home, checking licences
and packaging them for use with OOo is something you might consider.
"Stubbornly, OpenOffice.org continues to ship with only a handful of
templates. Despite the efforts of several sub-projects and individuals
to change the situation, the standard OpenOffice.org download includes
only a couple of slide show presentations and a few templates to
accompany the wizards available in the file menu. This lack of templates
is a serious handicap for many users, and often leaves a poor impression
on new users who are accustomed to the selection of templates found in
other office suites."

Something to bear in mind is that while some like "Letter" size paper, a
lot of people don't have it (and a lot of printers insist on user's
confirming their intent when asked to print a "Letter" document on "A4"
paper).
If someone here has a good contact in Sun, you might point out how silly
this licence looks when applied to free software:

You cannot reply off-list:-)
Today's QA meeting is cancelled - I've got to go to the dentist during
that block of time.
A couple of quick notes:
1) We're working on setting up a Testopia[1] instance for tracking test
cases/runs/etc. You can still contribute new test plans to the wiki[2].
Once we finish evaluating Testopia we might decide to migrate the wiki
test plans to Testopia.
2) The FAS 'qa' group has been handed over - I need to clear out the old
members before I start adding new ones. I'll make an announcement when
it's ready.
