We'll be reviewing all F13Blocker bugs [2] to determine whether they impact the release criteria [3]. Note that last week we temporarily moved the meeting forward by an hour; this week it's back to its usual time. The list of bugs to be discussed at the meeting is included below (sorted by component). As we approach the final release, these meetings often take a long time to work through the list. If you are the reporter or assignee you can help. Take a moment to review the bug ensure the issue should be listed as a F13Blocker. Kernel package is a nice example of this. howto monitor a program creating links in /tmp?

Hi, I have the following problem: Each time, immediately after having logged in (gnome or xfce), I find links in /tmp: lrwxrwxrwx 1 backes backes 20 Apr 23 10:46 4bd15e7f40cbc -> /etc/cups/ppd/kc.ppd lrwxrwxrwx 1 backes backes 23 Apr 23 10:46 4bd15e7f1b23f -> /etc/cups/ppd/e120n.ppd kc and e120 are my printers. The culprit *is not the print queue applet* - it has been switched off! - and not acroread (not started). Anybody has an advice howto find out who is creating these links? Hi, I want to report some weird F13 behaviour: Booting into runlevel 3 (with RHGB, appending ' 3' after RHGB). After boot is completed, goto on console #1. 0. Waiting some seconds 1. Very often, when typing the username, it is *not echoed* (but accepted) 2a. 13 Beta netinst and live image sizes are bigger than ISO header size

The size of any ISO file should be equal to the product of the Logical block size and Volume size shown by isoinfo -d -i file.iso However, the 13 Beta netinst and live images are all bigger than they should be. (This is the first time I've checked, so it may have been this way for a while.) This will cause a checksum mismatch if an ISO is burned to a disc and then read off to verify the checksum, since the amount read off should always be what the ISO header indicates. This could be dealt with in the future by truncating these images to the proper size (preferably by fixing whatever tool is being used to generate them). The DVD and install images are all the correct size. I also noticed that Fedora-13-Beta-source-DVD.iso is oversized (5198505984 bytes), at least for a single-layer DVD. I suggest that this test be added to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Mediakit_ISO_Size It's an easy test, since it only requires a few seconds of download for each ISO (wget shows the exact size immediately, and the ISO header is only a few dozen kB). Dear all, I have updated my laptop to Fedora 13 Beta via downloading fedora-release 13 and updating via yum, now when I start, nm-applet does not run by default/at startup. Also I have to enter wireless password and before I did not have to with Fedora 12.
