A hostname field would be nice, I don't have issues setting one after the fact though.

This will probably be considered a "minor" pain. And, since I don't use

I'd just like to go on record to say I dislike a few things about the
install process.
- There is no option to set the hostname during install.
There is, but it's non-obvious. You have to set it in GNOME Settings before running the installer. I've complained about this in the past as well.
- User creation is delayed until first boot and at the time of
creation there is no
option to specify the UID and GID. So, if you're like me, and use
existing
NFS services and your primary user doesn't have 1000/1000 for them you
have to either
know to create an initial throw away account or manually make changes later.
Or use FreeIPA/Active Directory to manage users and enroll as a client instead. This is generally a better idea than manually copying IDs around every time you deploy a new machine. _______________________________________________ test mailing list -- test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to test-leave@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@lists.fedoraproject.org
