I have a USB printer plugged into a NAS device that then shares it over SMB with no password required; I used to be able to print to it in Fedora 29 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1743756), but have not been able to print to it in either F30 or F31. I have recently confirmed that it is still failing with samba-4.11.7-1.fc31.x86_64, either through GNOME or directly through CUPS, but I don't know if 4.10.14 in F32 is going to be different.
Sorry, I wasn't very clear here. The bug in question was reported against Fedora 30. So the fact that you're still having trouble with 4.11.7 suggests that 4.10.14 doesn't actually fix it (or it's a separate, but similar issue). I'd be willing to bet they're close enough that the bug isn't actually fixed.
