"Failed to mount /sysroot" occurs with recent Rawhide Live images.

Boot an older image, update everything related to grub, mkinitrd and dracut. Then do a new grub2-install and mkinitrd on that newest initramfs. Seems to have worked for me on multiple f21 systems that got the same problem going from 3.18 to 3.19 kernels.

<quote> Well, this is the mount tool saying that it doesn't known the "nfs" file system type. That might have a number of different reasons, such as mount.nfs or the kernel nfs modules missing from the initrd or the kernel in general. Either way it's unlikely to be a systemd issue. Please ask the initrd, util-linux or kernel maintainers for help on this. </quote>
Guys, please comment on that so I can change to related component.

It is not enough context to tell if this is the same bug, or if it is related, but 220 series of systemd has definite troubles of mounting file systems referenced by labels.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1227537
There is a fix https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/fa05e972.diff but compiled later systemd-220-5.fc23 is buggy in the same way. systemd-219 does not suffer from this issue.

That's different issue.
