Not sure were to ask this question, but I was wondering if Fedora would create a seperate amd64 list. That way it would be easier to sift through the list and just get down to amd64 specific thoughts and problems.
thx,

I would be interested in that. I am just concerened that the fixes would not make it back to the mainline developers.
There are a couple of patches for my AMD64 laptop that I would still like to see make it into the main fedora kernel. (Like the cardbus patch.)

But it isn't fedora specific. If there's consensus however, we can fix that...

Traffic is fairly low on the amd64@redhat.com list so putting all of the FC amd64 stuff there should not be a problem ... it just needs to be advertised more.
The biggest "problem" with a separate amd64 list is that many problems/discussions are not necessarily amd64 specific.
There is the additional "problem" that amd64 problems/discussions are no longer "AMD" specific since Intel now supports the instruction set/architecture.
Having said this, I would like to see more use made of amd64@redhat.com for problems/discussions specifically related to that architecture.
