After rebooting the computer with the latest updates, X refused to start. I decided to use this downtime to compile and install the latest monolithic build of xorg-x11. Since I needed to remove the failing xorg-x11 rpms for a clean area to test the source, I had to remove the window managers. Using twm shows greater clarity of fonts over what was observed when using gnome. Are the fonts used in the stock xorg-x11 more numerous than ones provided in fedora?
