|This is the message received when system crashed. Question: How to exit the shell and contine.
Entering emergency mode. Exit the shell to conitinue. Type "journalctl" to view system logs. You might want to save/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt" to a USB stick or /boot after mounting them and attach it to a bug report.|

ctrl-d or "exit" should work.

:/# ctrl-d sh: ctrl-d: command not found :/# logout
This is the results of the command you suggested. Cursor is just blinking.

FYI, "ctrl-d" means hit the "Ctrl key and the d key on the keyboard simultaneously".

I did all that you ask me to do with no results so I tried install Fedora 20 fresh and now I can't get Fedora to install at all. Different packages come back with an unpack error. Each time it is a different package.

I would recommend running memtest from the installer or rescue image. (Hopefully, it's still included as one of the boot menu options...)

I suggest saving /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt to a USB stick or to /boot, then seeing if either the exit command will continue on regardless of the reason for the boot failure, or boot off a live cd and post the rdsosreport.txt somewhere.
