Hi, I like to use K3B instead of Brasero. But I recognized that after successful burning of a CD, the CD is successfully ejected, but afterwards my system is blocked, I cannot shut down K3B, have to restart the system. Where is to put the question? KDE oe Fedora? My system is always updated to the newest SW. Kind regards

I suggest you open a bugzilla against package k3b. You can do so here:
Can you reach a virtual console? Ctrl-Alt-F2 - F6
If you can, can you then do a
ps alx | grep -i k3b
to find the process id?
If you can, what happens if you do
kill [process id]
or
kill -9 [process id]
if that doesn't work? Can you then return to the gui interface successfully? Ctrl-Alt-F1
Hi, thank You Stan. I filed bug 1413400 . I could show the processes in a virtual console, kill them and return to the gui interface. Kind regards

That's great! So at least you have a workaround until this gets fixed.
