i ran across this issue trying to build a basic linux image with yocto project and asked about it here:
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.openembedded.core/60488
but i just verified that i get the same error trying to build ncurses-5.9 on my fully-updated rawhide system. here's my gcc:
$ gcc --version gcc (GCC) 5.0.0 20150208 (Red Hat 5.0.0-0.10) Copyright (C) 2015 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
and here's the output from doing an absolutely stock configure and make with the pristine ncurses-5.9 source:
$ make
... snip ...
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I../ncurses -I. -D_GNU_SOURCE -DNDEBUG -I. -I../include -O2 --param max-inline-insns-single=1200 -c ../ncurses/lib_gen.c -o ../objects/lib_gen.o _1736.c:835:22: error: expected β)β before βintβ Makefile:790: recipe for target '../objects/lib_gen.o' failed make[1]: *** [../objects/lib_gen.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/rpjday/Downloads/ncurses-5.9/ncurses' Makefile:109: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error 2
this appears to coincide with the arrival of gcc-5.0.0. thoughts?

Have you read https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2015-February/207549.html which includes the analysis of the ncurses bug?
