Hello! Installation of F31 on my Dell Inspiron 15 is failing, either, by creating a live USB stick and (kind of) by upgrading F30 --> F31 by DNF. The live USB doesn't even pass from the boot selecor (start, test media, troubleshooting). After choosing any option I receive a black unresponsive screen. No error messages and just the power button works. Now I discovered that after using DNF to upgrade to F31 if I select the F31's kernel I have the same black screen, but if I choose any of the F30 previous kernels the system starts nicely. Can this be a kernel issue?
Hi Henrique! Sorry for the trouble. A kernel issue would be the most likely suspect, yes. Can you try tweaking the boot parameters a bit? Could you remove the 'quiet rhgb' from the params when booting (either an image or the installed system) and add 'debug' instead, and see if anything changes?

Hi, Adam! I'm sorry I missed your reply. Turns out that the problem was a little more complicated but, weirdly, it solved itself. Chris was taking a look at it here[1] but I think it is hard to discover what happened.
Thanks for the help!
