I installed T7 on a vbox virtual machine. However, it aborts almost at the end of installation. Don't know why. Attempted a new installation but it would not allow reclaim of disk space.

What version of anaconda is in TC7? I'm seeing 18.24-1 in Koji, so you might pull that, which is easier to do on the LiveCD.

I have no idea. Where can I see the version number?

You can see this with "rpm -q anaconda" in a shell however I just checked and the version in TC7 is already 18.24-1.
With TC7 I'm hitting this "CLOSED NOTABUG" issue: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=868755
For the record I have tried most TC's and I have not been able to make a single successfull installation.

You're using a very small disk. Try with 10GB and see if that resolves the issue. If so, we might have an issue in the space detection code.

Indeed when I reduce the swap space and increase the size of the root fs the installation succeeds. I also added the information to the mentioned bug. Thanks for pointing that out.

Still, this kinda indicates the size calculation code isn't 100% accurate, though that may not be possible. I'll check with the anaconda devs on Monday. Thanks.

I have created a new thread for the abort problem.
