My #1 time waster, same-gnome, seems to have disappeared from the gnome-games package in fedora 13. The gnome one was much nicer than the KDE version.

Tried that, it isn't in there either.

Well, I should have known (it is so obvious):
From the http://live.gnome.org/Same%20Gnome website:
Same Gnome is a puzzle game. The game is now called Swell Foop.
Unfortunately, I can't find anything with that name either :-).

same-gnome got renamed to swell-foop, which is not so bad, but it also got rewritten to use seed, which is not available in Fedora.
So, if you want same-gnome back, how about you look at packaging seed ?

I'm looking at packaging seed, and also gnome-js-common that it depends on. There is some licensing issue right now that I'm trying to clarify with the upstream (thankfully, the same folks for both packages); see my Cc: to fedora-legal-list for details.
Thanks,

I read the gnome seed web page, and while I still can't tell what it actually says, it is clear that anything that cryptic will soon be used to rewrite all gnome apps :-).

Extrapolating from one game to all of gnome is quite a leap...
Anyway, seed is not really that mysterious. It is a javascript interpreter.

Licensing issue resolved -- gnome-js-common was supposed to be LGPLv3; I'll just apply the licensing patch from the Git master to the tarball when packaging. I'll post an update here when the packages are ready for review.
