Hi folks,
After f18 updates today and last night, my git_ps1 variable sort of disappeared. I had to copy the /usr/share/git-core/contrib/completions/git-prompt.sh to my user directory and source it in my .bashrc. However, I'm pretty sure I didn't have to do this before (I've been using the same git prompt for quite a while now). Would any one know what changed please? The other __git_* commands appeared to be available, but the __git_ps1 etc weren't in the list.
This system is a yum upgrade from fedora 17. The git prompt was working before the recent updates.

It moved to a different file. You want to source /etc/profile.d/git-prompt.sh now.

Sigh - they just moved it *again*. It's in /usr/share/git-core/contrib/completion now. I hope that's the last time they screw with it. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=854061

Yikes! I did look at bugzilla. "pollutes environment" isn't very informative I guess.
It may be a subtle change, but I'd really like some way of knowing when these are made. For a moment I thought I mucked up something on my system again :|.
