Hey folks! So we have go/no-go again tomorrow, it'd be great to cover as many of the Alpha tests as we can. I will contact the various SIGs to ask them to help as well. The changes vs. Alpha-1.6 should be:
desktop-backgrounds-24.0.0-1.fc24 for #1319770 kde-settings-24-3.fc24, plasma-workspace-5.5.5-7.fc24 for #1319043 mesa-11.2.0-0.devel.12.24ea81a.fc24 for #1318541 xpad-4.7.0-1.fc24 for #1299088 uboot-tools-2016.03-3.fc24 for #1318651
per https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/6371#comment:10%C2%A0, so it'd be great to verify the fixes for all those blocker/FE bugs, and make sure we don't see any regressions in KDE or GNOME caused by the kde and mesa updates.
I think we can consider the installation tests from Alpha-1.6 to be valid, since we really didn't change anything to do with install. Obviously it's good if we can double-check as many as possible just to be sure, but if coverage isn't complete we'll count the 1.6 results for go/no-go purposes. Ditto for Server. The Cloud tests weren't done for 1.6, so it'd be good to get those covered - I will talk to Cloud folks about that.
Thanks!
