I updated my rawhide box today and got such messages on boot: don't know how to create tty1 don't know how to create tty2 ... known bug or should I bugzilla this?

its not owned by a package... udev install seems to be broken will reinstall it.

For what it's worth, I've been getting the same error. But don't have MAKEDEV installed. (Installed from FC5T2 disc and have used pup to update to Rawhide).
# rpm -qf /sbin/MAKEDEV
file /sbin/MAKEDEV is not owned by any package
# rpm -V MAKEDEV
package MAKEDEV is not installed
two udev versions where installed...
# rpm -q udev udev-078-4 udev-078-8
I removed udev-078-4 but still get the "don't know how to make device" messages on boot.

yum install MAKEDEV
