Fedora's Transifex testing instance - help needed
by Piotr Drąg
Hi fellow translators,
Our excellent Infra team is currently testing new version of Transifex
(0.7.4) on staging server. We need your help with that!
https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/
They created a special local project with enabled submission support and
Publican file structure. You can freely use it to test viewing,
downloading, and submitting PO files. Changes here are not permanent,
this is just for testing, so play around until you get bored. ;)
https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/publican/c/virt-guide-...
You can use your FAS account information to log in - unless you've
changed your password recently, in which case the change might not be
current in the staging version.
Any found issues can be reported at transifex.org bug tracker (if it's
upstream software bug), or Red Hat Bugzilla's Fedora
Localization/Website component (if it's Fedora's implementation
problem). If you are unsure where your problem belongs, feel free to
just post it to this mailing list, and we will investigate it.
Thanks for everything you do for Fedora users. That's a great job.

Ah, right, that slipped my attention. If submissions are open to
anyone, then there's no much point in having teams.

Transfer of translation from Fedora Transifex upstream
by Александър Шопов
Hi everyone,
When I compare the times of uploading translation into Fedora's
Transifex installation and the later auto commit upstream from these two
pages:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/packagekit/master/
and http://cgit.freedesktop.org/packagekit/log/po?h=master
it seems to me that almost immediately translations are committed
upstream:
Language | Fedora's Transifex | po-dir log in PackageKit' Git
----------+----------------------------+------------------------------
German | 17 Feb 2010 10:29:38 +0000 | 17 Feb 10:29:34 2010 +0000
Hungarian | 12 Feb 2010 17:52:43 +0000 | 12 Feb 17:52:40 2010 +0000
po/id.po | 12 Feb 2010 03:13:36 +0000 | 12 Feb 03:13:33 2010 +0000
Hungarian | 8 Feb 2010 20:04:47 +0000 | 8 Feb 20:04:45 2010 +0000
However my upload at Sat, 20 Feb 2010 07:28:06 +0000 has still not been
committed upstream. Have I made a mistake? I have verified my po file
with msgfmt -cvv bg.po. Anything else that I should take into
consideration?
Kind regrds:

I am the coordinator of Bulgarian Gnome translation team and also the
Bulgarian team at the Translation project.
Several components used by Gnome rely on the translation system provided
by Fedora (PackageKit, Avahi).
I am trying to commit translations through the hoops####system.
Has anyone a contact with the coordinator of the Bulgarian team at
Fedoraproject - Doncho Gunchev?
I am trying to contact him because I am stuck with the uploading
process.
I have the following - A Fedora Account, SSH pub key, a published PGP
key, a signed CLA, application for cvsl10n, Bugzilla account.
What else do I need to be able to upload translations?
