dual boot Windows10 fedora28

Hi,
I purchased an Asus laptop with 2 hard drives (SSD 256 GB and HDD 1 TB).
Windows10 was preinstalled on the SSD and the HDD drive is used for data.
I wanted to install fedora alongside Windows.
So I shrinked the partition on the SSD drive (sdb) and also the partition on the HDD drive (sda).
I installed fedora on the new partition of the SDD drive.
So far so good. I can boot into Windows as well as Fedora.
Now I want to have /home, /usr/ and/ /tmp on the HDD drive, which I intend to use as data-drive.
I created a mountpoint for the new partition of the HDD drive (sudo mkdir /mnt/sda2 and sudo mount /dev/sda2 /mnt/sda2).
Now I am stuck. This is beyond my (limited) skills.
How do I realize that /home, /usr and and /tmp wil be stored on the HDD?
I need a step-by-step tutorial to proceed.

Where is tracer

So I decided to look into tracer.
When I did my system build I did a 'dnf list > dnf.lst' to get a listing
of all rpms in the repos (at least at that point it time). I have found
this an easy way to go look for things of interest. So I did:

4% battery; dpesn't suspend

F27. I ran a new laptop battery down to 4% (as claimed by gnome) and my
laptop didn't auto-suspend, nor hibernate.
In settings / power, the only option for battery power these days seems to
be to automatically suspend after a set time period; not at a certain
battery level.
So
a) did I imagine it that earlier fedoras used to have this feature?
b) any way I can enable auto-suspect on low battery for F27?

HP Omen with F28 chromium fails to run under optirun

I have a HP Omen laptop with Optimus (Intel + Nvidia). Bumblebee is
installed
and optirun works for glxgears and glxspheres64, however I can not get it
to work
for Chrome or Chromium. Any ideas?
I am running the Nvidia drivers from rpmfusion (the others did not work).
Note I had to fix the faker libs in /usr/lib64:
cd /usr/lib64
ln -s VirtualGL/* .
optirun glxgears works great and uses Nvidia.
Running "optirun chromium-browser" fails with a lot of errors (many due to a
font bug), and does NOT use the Nvidia GPU.

The font errors seem to be a font issue separate from bumblebee and
Nvidia. It has
been reported for several other systems as well.. If needed, I can do a

Note, I had a hard time getting F28 installed. I started off by trying
workstation,
but ended up using the server version, then loading packages such as Mate.

Hi All,
Fedora changed the way core dumps are generated.
These are my notes:

Fedora 28+ core dumps:
As of Fedora 28, core dumps have to be extracted by the administrator
(root):
These commands will give you a list of core dumps
# coredumpctl --reverse list
# ls -l /var/lib/systemd/coredump/
You need the PID of the core dumps parent to create a coe dump:
coredumpctl has a PID column. "--reverse" puts the youngest at the
top:
# coredumpctl --reverse list

The second to last set of numbers (28086 above) is the PID
To find a particular program's youngest pid (sub program name for
"CimTrak"):

To extract a core dump:
# coredumpctl dump {PID} --output /tmp/{PID}.core
This will place the Core file will be located in /tmp/
For example:

OK.... These are just things that I would do. In picking what I do I push out the
natural tendency to think "that can't be it". :-)

I leave no stone un-turned.
The dhclient-enp0s3.conf is a generated file. I think you'll notice that if you boot
with a static IP address that file doesn't exist and when you boot with "automatic"
addresses configured it will have the timestamp of when the boot occured.

Strange issue with dhcpd and laster kernel upgrade?

Have just had an issue with the dhcp ip addresses no longer working with the
latest kernels on my Fedora 27 machines.
Have 4 machines at my house, 2 have fixed IP addresses, so had no
problems, but the other 2 machines stopped getting IPs. Didn't think anything
of it, and just assigned them fixed IP addresses.
Have an old notebook that I had just been using, and did the updates. Then
rebooted, and it also would no longer get a connection with the 4.16.12
kernel. Rebooted to the 4.16.11, and it connected with no problem??
Rebooted again with the 4.16.12, and it just shows connecting, but no
connection.
Changed the setup to hard code an IP address on the wifi routers range, and
then it connects to the wifi just fine.
So Wifi and dhcp connection works fine with 4.16.11, but fails with 4.16.12??
Works with the IP address hard coded, so is this a kernel issue or what?

I have the same problem on F27. And it is quite annoying.
F27, KDE, Chrome, Thunderbird.
Using xdg-settings does not work *for me*, nor do the various settings
in the Thunderbird config, such as network.protocol-handler-app.http
Any other possibilities? Anyone? Bueller?

I have a problem updating. I encounter a problem with tetex-xvdi which does not exist but is required by texmaker:
