Thanks Roger, that worked to add libraries. I added a few that mount
needed, hoping that dracut would then find the root partition, mount
it, and the kernel would find the rest in the system files. But, it
was not to be, still hung on boot. Since there are about 80 libraries
that are in the initramfs' that boot that aren't in the initramfs'
that don't boot, I'll script it. Fortunately, the
install_optional_items option can be repeated.
I added all the missing libraries, though many of them probably aren't
needed, and the stock Fedora kernel now boots. My custom kernel,
configured to only work on my hardware, still doesn't boot, but that is
tweaking, and will eventually work after experimentation.
