a bit slow to shutdown. Just a silly question, have you tried V102 with a brand new empty
profile, just to eliminate a corrupt configuration?
Not silly. I just tried it and it started OK, though (as usual) had a short (<10s)
pause after the
first mail fetch.
I now ran it from cli and I notice these messages after the short pause:
[Parent 3847044, Main Thread] WARNING: Failed to connect to proxy: 'glib warning',
file /builddir/build/BUILD/thunderbird-102.2.0/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:167
(thunderbird:3847044): libnotify-WARNING **: 10:43:36.102: Failed to connect to proxy
This followed the arrival of one new message, which was visible after the pause resolved.
I then decided to see if the junk folder is leading to some issue.
Using my regular profile I moved all
the junk to a temporary folder, then restarted. 10 minutes later it is still on 100% CPU
:-(
If this is related, is there a way to clear the junk mail database? I assume that just
removing the messages
does not do that. I can later mark the temporary folder messages as junk to teach it
again.
