I think there is still some merit behind the idea of hosting a
repository with these kinds of resources. Just like how we have the
Creative Commons licensing to remix content freely and openly, the
purpose of having a repository like this would be to provide a frame of
reference of past presentations that others could find useful
information from for either making their own or building off of.
Everyone does this job differently, I agree, but for someone who may not
yet be a seasoned Ambassador, I see this as being a useful utility.
I am also very in favor of this repository. It would serve as a great
way to share ideas between regions and contributors.
As for access, the administrators of the repository could just be
regional Ambassador leadership, and if an Ambassador has slides they
would like to add, they could send them to the region storyteller or
submit a pull request against the repository. I think this is something
that could be a good responsibility for the storyteller position.
I'd like to see us encourage all contributions, even those from
non-ambassadors. Perhaps we could set up a repo where there is a large
number of committers who accept almost all material.
