Re: GHC 7.8 FESCo meeting tomorrow

Reviewing the long list of bugfixes in 7.8.4
it seems to me that we should really go with 7.8.4 in F22.
And I think we need to complete this work by the end of next week
to have it ready ahead of the Mass rebuild at the end
of the month and f22 branching coming up soon after.
I have requested a side tag in koji for this work from releng:
since I am not confident yet about the ARM builds for this.
There is no haskell-platform release yet for 7.8.4
(the platform list seems to be bouncing?) but perhaps we could use
Stackage Haskell LTS as a good package version reference
(but which version?;).
We are still missing a new deps, but from our earlier
build testing most of the packages currently in git master
should build at least: the remaining can be resolved
after branching if necessary.
